Leslie’s Booking Process and Details

I have tried to put all of the information I may need from you on this page. Please take the time to read through it so we can work together to create an amazing work of art!

Filling out this form does not guarantee an appointment. I do reserve the right to say no to projects. If I know an artist that is better suited for the job I will point you in the right direction.

Getting Started

Welcome to the first step of getting a tattoo from me! Please take a second to look at my Instagram (@artbylesliepodjun, https://instagram.com/artbylesliepodjun?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==) to get accustomed with my work. After that we will start with a few basic things.

Size (inches)
Placement
Style (line-work, stipple shading, traditional, neo-tradional, etc.
Color(s) or Black and Grey+
ALWAYS be descriptive as possible. I won’t know specific details unless you tell me :)
Reference photos

Giving me creative freedom on the overall idea is amazing! It allows me to create the best piece possible for you. I am happy to do exactly what you ask but I will offer my artistic opinion. A tattoo is a collaboration between you and I. Please don’t be scared to ask any questions! I just ask you are as specific as possible.

*If you bring me art off of someone else’s Instagram or Pinterest I will ask to take creative liberties as to not copy anyone else’s hard work. I WILL always take reference photos though.

*Just no copying.*

If you have explicit permission from an artist and I can see proof of that then I am happy to do tattoo the design. :)

Availability

I am available Wednesday through Sunday. I start my appointments between 10am and 5pm. If we are starting something at 5pm I ask that they are only 1hr to 2hr pieces. I prefer to start larger projects earlier in the day.

Currently I plan to schedule myself about a month or two out. As of right now I have plenty of availability.

*If I have any openings I will be posting them on Instagram. I will treat it as first-come-first-serve.*

Preferences

Things I LOVE tattooing: nature of any sort, mystical creatures and items, animals, illustrative works, gods/goddesses, flowers, bugs

(I am pretty open!)

Things I don’t enjoy: hyper realism, large scale script, large scale color

Styles I LOVE: illustrative, black and grey, stipple shading, neo-tradional, traditional with a twist, black and grey with selective color

Payment

Shop minimum- $125

One-shot, one session pieces- Priced by the piece.

Large, multi-session pieces- $155/hour

A $50 Drawing fee will need to be paid within the next 48 hours to confirm your appointment.
This covers the research and drawing time for your design!

Two rounds of edits will be included, after that a new drawing fee will be required.

(Please note this drawing fee does NOT come out of the final cost of your tattoo)

$50 Deposit for appointments that don’t require me to design anything
(This is different from the drawing fee. It will come out of the cost at the end)

Once I have received your drawing fee your appt is confirmed. You will receive a drawing from me within 1-2 weeks of your appointment.
If I have not received your drawing fee within the next 48 hours your appointment will be canceled.

If you need more time, please let me know and we can agree on a later date, I’m happy to accommodate! I know life happens!

Tipping is very appreciated but never expected.

I will be taking deposits in cash or through Square. I will be doing the same for the overall cost of the tattoo.

(I ALWAYS appreciate cash!)

Cancellation/Rescheduling

If you are going to be late to your appointment please let me know ASAP. I absolutely understand that life happens. We may have to reschedule depending on the circumstances. If you need to cancel or reschedule please let me know within 48hrs.

*I do allow one free reschedule with every deposit/drawing fee made.*

Please just communicate with me. I understand being a person is hard. I will do my best to work with you!

*If you cancel or reschedule after the 48hr mark passes I will require a new deposit for your new appointment.*

Preparation

A few things that will help immensely are:

Drink plenty of water days leading up to your appointment
Eat a good meal before the tattoo and feel free to bring snacks if it’s going to be a longer session
Good night’s sleep before
Get excited!

*Please make sure to wear clothing that is comfortable and gives access to the location we will be tattooing. Please feel free to ask if you are unsure!*

Additional Notes

I do not tattoo minors. I understand other artists do but I am not comfortable with it.

*You will need a government issued I.D. at the time of the appointment to be tattooed. This includes driver’s licenses or passport*

If there is a reason to think the tattoo will affect employment or social standing then I will not do the tattoo. (Ex. Someone who has no tattoos wants a face tattoo). If you are not relatively covered, I can help you get there!

Please do not use numbing cream, spray, etc. without consulting me first. They can alter how the ink goes into the skin and how the tattoo heals. Especially for color tattoos. If pain is a concern of yours please let me know and we will try to make a plan that works best for both of us!
